मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-15, verse-72

असंख्येया महाराज यथा बिन्द्वादयो ह्यपाम् ।
तथा तवापि पुण्यस्य संख्या नैवोपपद्यते ॥७२॥
72. asaṃkhyeyā mahārāja yathā bindvādayo hyapām .
tathā tavāpi puṇyasya saṃkhyā naivopapadyate.
72. asaṅkhyeyā mahārāja yathā bindvādayaḥ hi apām
tathā tava api puṇyasya saṃkhyā na eva upapadyate
72. O great king, just as drops of water are innumerable, so too, the number of your merit cannot be calculated.
