महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-2, chapter-61, verse-46

अस्य पापस्य दुर्जातेर्भारतापसदस्य च ।
न पिबेयं बलाद्वक्षो भित्त्वा चेद्रुधिरं युधि ॥४६॥
46. asya pāpasya durjāterbhāratāpasadasya ca ,
na pibeyaṁ balādvakṣo bhittvā cedrudhiraṁ yudhi.
46. asya pāpasya durjāteḥ bhārata-apasadasya ca na
pibeyam balāt vakṣaḥ bhittvā cet rudhiram yudhi
46. If I do not tear open the chest of this sinful, ill-born disgrace among the Bhāratas and forcibly drink his blood in battle, then I would not drink.
