वैशंपायन उवाच ।

Vaiśampāyana said: 'The individual, by becoming actionless (niṣkriya), attains the supreme cosmic person (puruṣa), who is the twenty-fifth principle (pañcaviṃśaka), being [himself] endowed with a very subtle essence and connected with three imperishable syllables.'
