महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-12, chapter-336, verse-63

वैशंपायन उवाच ।
तिस्रः प्रकृतयो राजन्देहबन्धेषु निर्मिताः ।
सात्त्विकी राजसी चैव तामसी चेति भारत ॥६३॥
63. vaiśaṁpāyana uvāca ,
tisraḥ prakṛtayo rājandehabandheṣu nirmitāḥ ,
sāttvikī rājasī caiva tāmasī ceti bhārata.
