महाभारतः mahābhārataḥ - book-12, chapter-336, verse-39

कुक्षिनाम्नेऽथ प्रददौ दिशां पालाय धर्मिणे ।
ततः सोऽन्तर्दधे भूयो नारायणमुखोद्गतः ॥३९॥

39. kukṣināmne'tha pradadau diśāṁ pālāya dharmiṇe ,
tataḥ so'ntardadhe bhūyo nārāyaṇamukhodgataḥ.

39. Then he gave it to Kukṣi, the protector of the directions and a follower of natural law (dharma). Thereafter, it (this natural law), having originally emerged from the mouth of Nārāyaṇa, vanished again.
