महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-12, chapter-336, verse-60

ऋषीणां संनिधौ राजञ्शृण्वतोः कृष्णभीष्मयोः ।
तस्याप्यकथयत्पूर्वं नारदः सुमहातपाः ॥६०॥
60. ṛṣīṇāṁ saṁnidhau rājañśṛṇvatoḥ kṛṣṇabhīṣmayoḥ ,
tasyāpyakathayatpūrvaṁ nāradaḥ sumahātapāḥ.

60. O King (rājan), in the presence of the sages (ṛṣīṇām saṃnidhau), while Kṛṣṇa and Bhīṣma were listening, Nārada, who possessed great spiritual austerity (sumahātapāḥ), had previously recounted it to him (Vyāsa) as well.
