योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-6, chapter-109, verse-71

शिखिध्वज उवाच ।
युक्तमुक्तं विशालाक्षि त्वयैतत्समया धिया ।
को वार्थः किल राज्यस्य ग्रहे त्यागेऽपि वा भवेत् ॥ ७१ ॥
śikhidhvaja uvāca ,
yuktamuktaṃ viśālākṣi tvayaitatsamayā dhiyā ,
ko vārthaḥ kila rājyasya grahe tyāge'pi vā bhavet 71
71. śikhidhvaja uvāca | yuktam uktam
viśālākṣi tvayā etat samayā
dhiyā | kaḥ vā arthaḥ kila rājyasya
grahe tyāge api vā bhavet ||
71. śikhidhvaja uvāca viśālākṣi tvayā etat samayā dhiyā yuktam
uktam rājyasya grahe vā tyāge api vā kaḥ arthaḥ kila bhavet
71. Śikhidhvaja said: "O wide-eyed one, you have spoken truly, with a balanced intellect. What indeed is the real purpose of a kingdom, whether in its acceptance or its renunciation?"
