योगवासिष्ठः yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-2, chapter-13, verse-70

समया शमशालिन्या वृत्त्या यः साधु वर्तते ।
अभिनन्दितया लोके जीवतीह स नेतरः ॥ ७० ॥

70. The one who lives virtuously in the world by means of a suitable disposition (vṛtti) adorned with tranquility (śama), and who is praised by people, truly lives here; no one else does.
