योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-2, chapter-13, verse-23

अनन्तानीह दुःखानि सुखं तृणलवोपमम् ।
नातः सुखेषु बध्नीयाद्दृष्टिं दुःखानुबन्धिषु ॥ २३ ॥
anantānīha duḥkhāni sukhaṃ tṛṇalavopamam ,
nātaḥ sukheṣu badhnīyāddṛṣṭiṃ duḥkhānubandhiṣu 23

ataḥ sukheṣu badhnīyāt dṛṣṭim duḥkhānubandhiṣu

23. Here in this world, sorrows are endless, while happiness is comparable to a blade of grass. Therefore, one should not fix one's gaze upon pleasures that are invariably accompanied by sorrow.
