मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-75, verse-77

य एषां शृणुयान्नित्यं पठेदाख्यानमुत्तमम् ।
विमुक्तः सर्वपापेभ्यो लोकं प्राप्नोत्यभीप्सितम् ॥७७॥
77. ya eṣāṃ śṛṇuyānnityaṃ paṭhedākhyānamuttamam .
vimuktaḥ sarvapāpebhyo lokaṃ prāpnotyabhīpsitam.
77. yaḥ eṣām śṛṇuyāt nityam paṭhet ākhyānam uttamam
vimuktaḥ sarvapāpebhyaḥ lokam prāpnoti abhīpsitam
77. Whoever regularly listens to or reads this excellent narration (ākhyāna) will be freed from all sins and attain the desired world.
