मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-75, verse-57

ऋषिरुवाच ।
ऋतवागिति विख्यातस्तपस्वी रेवतीं प्रति ।
चकार कोपं क्रुद्धेन तेनर्क्षं विनिपातितम् ॥५७॥
57. ṛṣiruvāca .
ṛtavāgiti vikhyātastapasvī revatīṃ prati .
cakāra kopaṃ kruddhena tenarkṣaṃ vinipātitam.
57. ṛṣiḥ uvāca | ṛtavāk iti vikhyātaḥ tapasvī revatīm
prati | cakāra kopam kruddhena tena ṛkṣam vinipātitam
57. The sage said: The renowned ascetic (tapasvī) Ṛtavāk became angry at Revatī. By him, in his anger, the constellation was caused to fall.
