मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-75, verse-34

राजोवाच ।
क्व गतो भगवानस्मादाश्रमान्मुनिपुङ्गवः ।
तं प्रणेतुमिहेच्छामि तत् त्वं प्रब्रूहि शोभने ॥३४॥
34. rājovāca .
kva gato bhagavānasmādāśramānmunipuṅgavaḥ .
taṃ praṇetumihecchāmi tat tvaṃ prabrūhi śobhane.
34. rājā uvāca kva gataḥ bhagavān asmāt āśramāt munipuṅgavaḥ
tam praṇetum iha icchāmi tat tvam prabrūhi śobhane
34. The king said, "Where has the venerable (bhagavān) foremost among sages (munipuṅgavaḥ) gone from this hermitage? I wish to pay homage to him here. Please tell me that, O beautiful one!"
