मार्कण्डेय उवाच ।
ततोऽसावभवन्मौनी तेनोक्तः पृथिवीपतिः ।
ऋषिस्तथोद्यतः कर्तुं तस्या वैवाहिकं विधिम् ॥५२॥

52. mārkaṇḍeya uvāca .
tato'sāvabhavanmaunī tenoktaḥ pṛthivīpatiḥ .
ṛṣistathodyataḥ kartuṃ tasyā vaivāhikaṃ vidhim.

52.
Mārkaṇḍeya said: Then that lord of the earth (pṛthivīpati), having been spoken to by him (the sage), became silent. And the sage then prepared to perform her wedding ritual.
