मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-75, verse-27

तान्तु यौवनिनीं दृष्ट्वा कान्यकां रूपशालिनीम् ।
स मुनिश्चिन्तमामास कोऽस्या भर्ता भवेदिति ॥२७॥
27. tāntu yauvaninīṃ dṛṣṭvā kānyakāṃ rūpaśālinīm .
sa muniścintamāmāsa ko'syā bhartā bhavediti.
27. tām tu yauvaninīm dṛṣṭvā kanyakām rūpaśālinīm
saḥ muniḥ cintayāmāsa kaḥ asyāḥ bhartā bhavet iti
27. However, when that sage saw her, a youthful maiden endowed with beauty, he began to think: 'Who should be her husband?'
