मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-75, verse-21

मार्कण्डेय उवाच ।
तेनैवं व्याहृते शापे रेवत्यृक्षं पपात ह ।
पश्यतः सर्वलोकस्य विस्मयाविष्टचेतसः ॥२१॥
21. mārkaṇḍeya uvāca .
tenaivaṃ vyāhṛte śāpe revatyṛkṣaṃ papāta ha .
paśyataḥ sarvalokasya vismayāviṣṭacetasaḥ.
21. mārkaṇḍeyaḥ uvāca tena evam vyāhṛte śāpe revatī ṛkṣam
papāta ha paśyataḥ sarvalokasya vismayāviṣṭacetasaḥ
21. Mārkaṇḍeya said: When he had thus uttered the curse, the constellation Revati indeed fell, while all the people, their minds filled with wonder, looked on.
