मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-75, verse-2

ऋषिरासीन्महाभाग ऋतवागिति विश्रुतः ।
तस्यापुत्रस्य पुत्रोऽभूद्रेवत्यन्ते महात्मनः ॥२॥
2. ṛṣirāsīnmahābhāga ṛtavāgiti viśrutaḥ .
tasyāputrasya putro'bhūdrevatyante mahātmanaḥ.
2. ṛṣiḥ āsīt mahābhāga ṛtavāk iti viśrutaḥ tasya
aputrasya putraḥ abhūt revatī ante mahātmanaḥ
2. There was a revered sage, renowned as Ṛtavāk. To that great-souled (mahātman) sage, who was childless, a son was born at the end of (the age of) Revati.
