मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-75, verse-25

रेवतीकान्तिसम्भूतां तां दृष्ट्वा प्रमुचो मुनिः ।
तस्या नाम चकारेत्थं रेवती नाम भागुरे ॥२५॥
25. revatīkāntisambhūtāṃ tāṃ dṛṣṭvā pramuco muniḥ .
tasyā nāma cakāretthaṃ revatī nāma bhāgure.
25. revatīkāntisambhūtām tām dṛṣṭvā pramucaḥ muniḥ
tasyāḥ nāma cakāra ittham revatī nāma bhāgure
25. O Bhāguri, when the sage Pramuca saw her, born from the splendor of Revati, he thus named her Revati.
