मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-75, verse-23

कुमुदाद्रिश्च तत्पातात् ख्यातो रैवतकोऽभवत् ।
अतीव रम्यः सर्वस्यां पृथिव्यां पृथिवीधरः ॥२३॥
23. kumudādriśca tatpātāt khyāto raivatako'bhavat .
atīva ramyaḥ sarvasyāṃ pṛthivyāṃ pṛthivīdharaḥ.
23. kumudādriḥ ca tat pātāt khyātaḥ raivatakaḥ abhavat
atīva ramyaḥ sarvasyām pṛthivyām pṛthivīdharaḥ
23. And Mount Kumuda, due to the constellation's fall, became renowned as Raivataka, an exceedingly delightful mountain (pṛthivīdharaḥ) across the entire earth.
