तस्यैवं कुर्वतो राज्यं सम्यक्पालयतः प्रजाः ।
सप्त वर्षसहस्राणि जग्मुरेकमहर्यथा ॥९॥

While he thus governed the kingdom and properly protected his subjects, seven thousand years passed for him as if they were a single day.
