मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-106, verse-76

ततः स मण्डलादुद्यन्निजबिम्बसमप्रभः ।
अवतीर्य ददौ तेभ्यो दुर्दृशो दर्शनं रविः ॥७६॥
76. tataḥ sa maṇḍalādudyannijabimbasamaprabhaḥ .
avatīrya dadau tebhyo durdṛśo darśanaṃ raviḥ.
76. tataḥ saḥ maṇḍalāt udyan nijabimbasamaprabhaḥ
avatīrya dadau tebhyaḥ durdaṛśaḥ darśanam raviḥ
76. Then the Sun (Ravi), emerging from his orb with a splendor equal to his own form, descended and granted vision to those for whom he had been difficult to perceive.
