मार्कण्डेय उवाच ।
इति ते तद्वचः श्रुत्वा गत्वा तत्काननं द्विजाः ।
ददृशुर्भास्वतस्तत्र पुण्यमायतनं शुभम् ॥५९॥

59. mārkaṇḍeya uvāca .
iti te tadvacaḥ śrutvā gatvā tatkānanaṃ dvijāḥ .
dadṛśurbhāsvatastatra puṇyamāyatanaṃ śubham.
iti te tadvacaḥ śrutvā gatvā tatkānanaṃ dvijāḥ .

mārkaṇḍeyaḥ uvāca iti te tat vacaḥ śrutvā gatvā tat kānanam
dvijāḥ dadṛśuḥ bhāsvataḥ tatra puṇyam āyatanam śubham

59.
Mārkaṇḍeya said: "Thus, O twice-born ones (dvijās), having heard those words and having gone to that forest, they saw there an auspicious and sacred shrine of the brilliant Sun."
