मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-106, verse-39

श्रुत्वा च ते तु नृपतेर्वचो व्याकुलचेतसः ।
दिनं लग्नं च होराश्च न विदुः शास्त्रदृष्टयः ॥३९॥
39. śrutvā ca te tu nṛpatervaco vyākulacetasaḥ .
dinaṃ lagnaṃ ca horāśca na viduḥ śāstradṛṣṭayaḥ.
39. śrutvā ca te tu nṛpateḥ vacaḥ vyākulacetasaḥ
dinam lagnam ca horāḥ ca na viduḥ śāstradṛṣṭayaḥ
39. However, upon hearing the king's words, those astrologers (śāstradṛṣṭayaḥ), whose minds were agitated, could not determine the auspicious day, moment (lagna), or specific hours.
