मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-106, verse-53

अग्निहोत्रपराश्चान्ये रविसूक्तान्यहर्निशम् ।
जेपुस्तत्रापरे तस्थुर्भास्करे न्यस्तदृष्टयः ॥५३॥

53. Some others, devoted to the Agnihotra fire Vedic ritual (yajña), chanted hymns to the sun day and night. Still others stood there, their gaze fixed upon the sun.
