सोऽहं राज्ये सुतं कृत्वा भोगांस्त्यक्त्वा वनाश्रयः ।
तपस्तप्स्ये समायान्ति न यावद्यमसैनिकाः ॥३७॥

37. so'haṃ rājye sutaṃ kṛtvā bhogāṃstyaktvā vanāśrayaḥ .

Therefore, having installed my son in the kingdom, and having renounced all worldly enjoyments, I will take refuge in the forest and perform penance (tapas) until the soldiers of Yama arrive.
