मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-106, verse-38

मार्कण्डेय उवाच ।
ततो यियासुः स वनं दैवज्ञानवनीपतिः ।
पुत्रराज्याऽभिषेकाय दिनलग्नान्यपृच्छत ॥३८॥
38. mārkaṇḍeya uvāca .
tato yiyāsuḥ sa vanaṃ daivajñānavanīpatiḥ .
putrarājyā'bhiṣekāya dinalagnānyapṛcchata.
38. mārkaṇḍeyaḥ uvāca tataḥ yiyāsuḥ saḥ vanam daivajñān
avanīpatiḥ putrarājyābhiṣekāya dinalagnāni apṛcchat
38. Mārkaṇḍeya said: Then, that king (avanīpatiḥ), desiring to depart for the forest, inquired of the astrologers regarding the auspicious days and moments (lagnas) for his son's consecration to the kingdom.
