बाल्ये बालक्रियापूर्वं तद्वत्कौमारके च या ।
यौवने चापि या योग्या वार्द्धके वनसंश्रया ॥२४॥

24. bālye bālakriyāpūrvaṃ tadvatkaumārake ca yā .

That which is primarily characterized by childish activities in childhood, and similarly that which is proper in adolescence, and also that which is appropriate in young adulthood – for old age, it is resorting to the forest (āśrama).
