मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-106, verse-49

सम्यग्ध्यानपरा भूत्वा प्रार्थयामः समाहिताः ।
तपसाराध्य भास्वन्तमायुरस्य महीपतेः ॥४९॥
49. samyagdhyānaparā bhūtvā prārthayāmaḥ samāhitāḥ .
tapasārādhya bhāsvantamāyurasya mahīpateḥ.
49. samyak dhyānaparāḥ bhūtvā prārthayāmaḥ samāhitāḥ
tapasā ārādhya bhāsvantam āyuḥ asya mahīpateḥ
49. Having become perfectly focused and absorbed in meditation (dhyāna), we pray, after having worshipped the radiant Sun god through severe austerity (tapas), for the prolonged life of this king.
