महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-8, chapter-32, verse-62

तद्युद्धं सुमहद्घोरमासीद्देवासुरोपमम् ।
निघ्नतां सायकैस्तूर्णमन्योन्यस्य वधं प्रति ॥६२॥
62. tadyuddhaṁ sumahadghoramāsīddevāsuropamam ,
nighnatāṁ sāyakaistūrṇamanyonyasya vadhaṁ prati.

nighnatām sāyakaiḥ tūrṇam anyonyasya vadham prati
62. tat yuddham sumahat ghoram devāsurupamam āsīt,

62. That battle was exceedingly terrible and resembled a conflict between gods and demons, as they rapidly struck each other to kill.
