महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-8, chapter-32, verse-27

ततः शङ्खसहस्राणां निस्वनो हृदयंगमः ।
प्रादुरासीदुभयतो भेरीशब्दश्च दारुणः ॥२७॥
27. tataḥ śaṅkhasahasrāṇāṁ nisvano hṛdayaṁgamaḥ ,
prādurāsīdubhayato bherīśabdaśca dāruṇaḥ.

27. Then, a captivating sound of thousands of conches arose, and from both sides, a terrible sound of drums also appeared.
