महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-8, chapter-32, verse-23

धृतराष्ट्र उवाच ।
यत्तत्प्रविश्य पार्थानां सेनां कुर्वञ्जनक्षयम् ।
कर्णो राजानमभ्यर्च्छत्तन्ममाचक्ष्व संजय ॥२३॥
23. dhṛtarāṣṭra uvāca ,
yattatpraviśya pārthānāṁ senāṁ kurvañjanakṣayam ,
karṇo rājānamabhyarcchattanmamācakṣva saṁjaya.
23. dhṛtarāṣṭraḥ uvāca yat tat
praviśya pārthānām senām kurvan
janakṣayam karṇaḥ rājānam
abhyarcchat tat mama ācakṣva sañjaya
23. dhṛtarāṣṭraḥ uvāca sañjaya,
yat tat karṇaḥ pārthānām senām praviśya janakṣayam kurvan rājānam abhyarcchat,
tat mama ācakṣva.
23. Dhṛtarāṣṭra said: "O Sañjaya, tell me how Karṇa, having penetrated the army of the Pārthas and inflicting great slaughter, then approached King Yudhiṣṭhira."
