महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-7, chapter-57, verse-78

ततः प्रीतं भवं ज्ञात्वा स्मृतिमानर्जुनस्तदा ।
वरमारण्यकं दत्तं दर्शनं शंकरस्य च ।
मनसा चिन्तयामास तन्मे संपद्यतामिति ॥७८॥
78. tataḥ prītaṁ bhavaṁ jñātvā smṛtimānarjunastadā ,
varamāraṇyakaṁ dattaṁ darśanaṁ śaṁkarasya ca ,
manasā cintayāmāsa tanme saṁpadyatāmiti.
78. tataḥ prītam bhavam jñātvā smṛtimān
arjunaḥ tadā varam āraṇyakam dattam
darśanam śaṅkarasya ca manasā
cintayāmāsa tat me sampadyatām iti
78. tadā arjunaḥ smṛtimān tataḥ bhavam prītam jñātvā,
dattam āraṇyakam varam śaṅkarasya darśanam ca (iti) tat me manasā cintayāmāsa (yat) sampadyatām
78. Then, knowing Bhava (Shiva) to be pleased, Arjuna, remembering the boon (vara) granted in the forest and the vision (darśana) of Shankara, thought to himself, "May that (boon) be accomplished for me."
