महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-7, chapter-57, verse-24

सरिच्छ्रेष्ठां च तां गङ्गां वीक्षमाणो बहूदकाम् ।
सदापुष्पफलैर्वृक्षैरुपेतां स्फटिकोपलाम् ॥२४॥
24. saricchreṣṭhāṁ ca tāṁ gaṅgāṁ vīkṣamāṇo bahūdakām ,
sadāpuṣpaphalairvṛkṣairupetāṁ sphaṭikopalām.
