The greatly radiant one, whose banner bore Garuḍa (Garuḍadhvaja), approached him (Arjuna), whose banner bore the excellent monkey (Kapivaradhvaja), as he lay afflicted by sorrow and meditating (dhyāyantam) in a dream.
