महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-7, chapter-57, verse-31

चन्द्ररश्मिप्रकाशाङ्गीं पृथिवीं पुरमालिनीम् ।
समुद्रांश्चाद्भुताकारानपश्यद्बहुलाकरान् ॥३१॥
31. candraraśmiprakāśāṅgīṁ pṛthivīṁ puramālinīm ,
samudrāṁścādbhutākārānapaśyadbahulākarān.

samudrān ca adbhuta-ākārān apaśyat bahula-ākarān

31. He saw the earth, whose form shone like moonbeams and which was garlanded with cities, and he also saw the oceans, which had wondrous forms and abundant mines.
