महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-7, chapter-57, verse-26

मन्दरस्य प्रदेशांश्च किंनरोद्गीतनादितान् ।
हेमरूप्यमयैः शृङ्गैर्नानौषधिविदीपितान् ।
तथा मन्दारवृक्षैश्च पुष्पितैरुपशोभितान् ॥२६॥
26. mandarasya pradeśāṁśca kiṁnarodgītanāditān ,
hemarūpyamayaiḥ śṛṅgairnānauṣadhividīpitān ,
tathā mandāravṛkṣaiśca puṣpitairupaśobhitān.

26. And the regions of Mandara mountain, resounding with the songs of kinnaras, shining with peaks of gold and silver bright with various luminous herbs, and beautified by blooming Mandara trees.
