बृहत्-पाराशर-होरा-शास्त्रम्       bṛhat-pārāśara-horā-śāstram - chapter-43, verse-59

सुयोगैर्वर्ध्यते ह्यायुः कुयोगैर्हीयते तथा ।
अतो योगानहं वक्ष्ये पूर्णमध्याल्पकारकान् ॥५९॥
59. suyogairvardhyate hyāyuḥ kuyogairhīyate tathā .
ato yogānahaṃ vakṣye pūrṇamadhyālpakārakān.
59. suyogaiḥ vardhyate hi āyuḥ kuyogaiḥ hīyate tathā
ataḥ yogān aham vakṣye pūrṇamadhyālpākārakān
59. Indeed, lifespan (āyu) is increased by beneficial planetary combinations (yoga) and similarly diminished by malefic ones. Therefore, I shall now explain the planetary combinations (yoga) that cause full, medium, or short lifespans.
