बृहत्-पाराशर-होरा-शास्त्रम्       bṛhat-pārāśara-horā-śāstram - chapter-43, verse-46

लब्धांशास्तु यथाप्राप्तखण्डघ्नास्त्रिंशतोद्धृताः ।
लब्धवर्षादिभिर्हीनं प्राप्तायुः प्रस्फुटं भवेत् ॥४६॥
46. labdhāṃśāstu yathāprāptakhaṇḍaghnāstriṃśatoddhṛtāḥ .
labdhavarṣādibhirhīnaṃ prāptāyuḥ prasphuṭaṃ bhavet.
46. labdhāṃśāḥ tu yathāprāpta-khaṇḍa-ghnāḥ triṃśatā uddhṛtāḥ
labdha-varṣādibhiḥ hīnam prāptāyuḥ prasphuṭam bhavet
46. The obtained portions (aṃśa), multiplied by the available sections (khaṇḍa) and divided by thirty, and then reduced by the already received years and so on, will yield the accurate lifespan (āyuṣ).
