बृहत्-पाराशर-होरा-शास्त्रम्       bṛhat-pārāśara-horā-śāstram - chapter-43, verse-2

साधु पृष्टं त्वया विप्र जनानां च हितेच्छया ।
कथयाम्यायुषो ज्ञानं दुर्ज्ञेयं यत् सुरैरपि ॥२॥
2. sādhu pṛṣṭaṃ tvayā vipra janānāṃ ca hitecchayā .
kathayāmyāyuṣo jñānaṃ durjñeyaṃ yat surairapi.
2. sādhu pṛṣṭam tvayā vipra janānām ca hita-icchayā
| kathayāmi āyuṣaḥ jñānam durjñeyam yat suraiḥ api
2. O Brahmin, you have asked well, and with a desire for the welfare of people. I will now explain the knowledge concerning lifespan, which is difficult to comprehend even for the gods.
