तस्यापि भार्या सौनन्दा विदूरथसुताऽभवत् ।
पतिव्रता महाभागा सा प्राप्ता तेन शौर्यतः ।
हत्वा पुरन्दररिपुं कुजंभं दितिजेश्वरम् ॥८॥

8. tasyāpi bhāryā saunandā vidūrathasutā'bhavat .

His wife also was Saunanda, the daughter of Vidūratha. She was a chaste (pativratā) and greatly fortunate woman. He obtained her through his valor, having killed Kujambha, the enemy of Purandara (Indra) and lord of the Daityas.
