मार्कण्डेय उवाच ।
स तं मुदा परिष्वज्य प्रियसख्युरथात्मजम् ।
गम्यतामिति संसिद्ध्यै वत्सेत्याह स पार्थिवः ॥४३॥

sa taṃ mudā pariṣvajya priyasakhyurathātmajam .
gamyatāmiti saṃsiddhyai vatsetyāha sa pārthivaḥ.

Mārkaṇḍeya said: Then, that king, having joyfully embraced his dear friend's son (ātman), said, 'Go forth, my child, for success!'
