स पावकास्त्रेण हृदि क्षतो भृशं तत्याज देहं त्रिदशारिरात्मनः ।
बभूव सद्यश्च महोरगाणां रसातलान्तेषु महानथोत्सवः ॥५८॥

58. sa pāvakāstreṇa hṛdi kṣato bhṛśaṃ tatyāja dehaṃ tridaśārirātmanaḥ .

58.
Severely wounded in the heart by the fire-weapon, that enemy of the gods (tridaśāri) gave up his own body. And immediately thereafter, a great celebration (utsava) took place among the great serpents in the deepest parts of the netherworld (rasātala).
