इयाज यज्ञान्सततं प्रजा धर्मेण पालयन् ।
पुत्रवत्पाल्यमानास्तु प्रजास्तेन महात्मना ॥७५॥

He constantly performed Vedic rituals (yajña), protecting his subjects in accordance with natural law (dharma). And those subjects, being protected by that great-souled one as if they were his own sons...
