मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-113, verse-33

निर्विन्ध्यायास्तटे गर्तस्तेन गत्वा रसातलम् ।
स हन्यतां योऽपहर्ता मुदावत्याः सुदुर्मतिः ॥३३॥
33. nirvindhyāyāstaṭe gartastena gatvā rasātalam .
sa hanyatāṃ yo'pahartā mudāvatyāḥ sudurmatiḥ.
33. nirvindhyāyāḥ taṭe gartaḥ tena gatvā rasātalam
saḥ hanyatām yaḥ apahartā mudāvatyāḥ sudurmatiḥ
33. On the bank of the Nīrvindhyā river, there is a pit. Whoever is the abductor of Mudāvatī, that extremely evil-minded one, let him be killed by going through that pit to the netherworld (rasātalam).
