मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-113, verse-23

मुशलं तस्य बलिनः सौनन्दं प्रोच्यते जनैः ।
तथा बलाबलं चैव तं वदन्ति विचक्षणाः ॥२३॥
23. muśalaṃ tasya balinaḥ saunandaṃ procyate janaiḥ .
tathā balābalaṃ caiva taṃ vadanti vicakṣaṇāḥ.

tathā balābalam ca eva tam vadanti vicakṣaṇāḥ
23. His club, that of the powerful one, is called Saunanda by people. Likewise, the discerning individuals refer to him as 'strength and weakness' (balābalam).
