मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-113, verse-37

तच्छ्रुत्वा स महीपालः प्राहेदं सर्वसैनिकान् ।
बद्धपुत्रः परामार्तिमुपेतो मुनिसत्तम ॥३७॥
37. tacchrutvā sa mahīpālaḥ prāhedaṃ sarvasainikān .
baddhaputraḥ parāmārtimupeto munisattama.
37. tat śrutvā sa mahīpālaḥ prāha idam sarvasainikān
baddhaputraḥ parām ārtim upetaḥ munisattama
37. O best of sages, having heard that, the king, whose son was imprisoned and who was afflicted by great distress, said this to all his soldiers.
