मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-113, verse-22

यद्यरिं घातयस्येनं पातालान्तरगोचरम् ।
ततः समस्तवसुधापतिस्त्वं परमेश्वरः ॥२२॥
22. yadyariṃ ghātayasyenaṃ pātālāntaragocaram .
tataḥ samastavasudhāpatistvaṃ parameśvaraḥ.
22. yadi arim ghātayasi enam pātālāntaragocaram
tataḥ samastavasudhāpatiḥ tvam parameśvaraḥ
22. If you slay this enemy, who resides within the netherworld (pātāla), then you will be the lord of the entire earth, the supreme ruler.
