ततः पराजित्य स भूपसूनुरस्त्राणि शस्त्राणि च दानवस्य ।

56. tataḥ parājitya sa bhūpasūnurastrāṇi śastrāṇi ca dānavasya .

56.
Then, that prince (bhūpasūnu), having overcome the demon's (dānava) missile weapons and hand-held weapons, immediately rendered him chariot-less. And thereafter, the demon, with his shield and sword, rushed forward once more.
