मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-113, verse-39

इत्येवं घोषयांचक्रे स राजा स्वपुरे तदा ।
निराशः पुत्रतनयाबन्धमोक्षाय वै मुने ॥३९॥
39. ityevaṃ ghoṣayāṃcakre sa rājā svapure tadā .
nirāśaḥ putratanayābandhamokṣāya vai mune.

39. O sage, thus did that king, despairing of the liberation (mokṣa) of his son and daughter from their captivity, then proclaim in his own city.
