इत्येवं घोषयांचक्रे स राजा स्वपुरे तदा ।
निराशः पुत्रतनयाबन्धमोक्षाय वै मुने ॥३९॥

O sage, thus did that king, despairing of the liberation (mokṣa) of his son and daughter from their captivity, then proclaim in his own city.
