महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-8, chapter-43, verse-65

सुभृशं च पराक्रान्ताः पाञ्चालानां निवारणे ।
कृपकर्णादयो वीरा ऋषभाणामिवर्षभाः ॥६५॥
65. subhṛśaṁ ca parākrāntāḥ pāñcālānāṁ nivāraṇe ,
kṛpakarṇādayo vīrā ṛṣabhāṇāmivarṣabhāḥ.

kṛpakarṇa ādayaḥ vīrāḥ ṛṣabhāṇām iva ṛṣabhāḥ
65. कृपकर्ण आद्यः वीराः पाञ्चालानाम् निवारणे सुभृशम् च पराक्रान्ताः,
ऋषभाणाम् इव ऋषभाः.
65. And the heroes like Kṛpa and Karṇa are exceedingly valiant in resisting the Pañcālas, appearing like bulls among other bulls (i.e., supreme among heroes).
