महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-8, chapter-43, verse-31

एतान्पश्य च पाञ्चालान्द्राव्यमाणान्महात्मना ।
शक्रेणेव यथा दैत्यान्हन्यमानान्महाहवे ॥३१॥
31. etānpaśya ca pāñcālāndrāvyamāṇānmahātmanā ,
śakreṇeva yathā daityānhanyamānānmahāhave.
31. etān paśya ca pāñcālān drāvyamāṇān mahātmanā
śakreṇa iva yathā daityān hanyamānān mahāhave
31. ca paśya etān pāñcālān mahātmanā drāvyamāṇān
yathā śakreṇa daityān mahāhave hanyamānān iva
31. And behold these Pāñcālas being driven away by the great-souled (Karṇa), just as the Daityas are being slaughtered by Indra in a mighty battle.
